For someone in the middle of it, not the end of it.
A watercolor window with light coming through, a small potted plant on the sill, and soft washes of blue, green and lavender around the edges. The greeting reads You Don't Have to Face This Alone, with One day, one breath, one small step at a time beneath.
Most cards mark an event. This one marks a stretch — the long middle of something hard, where there's no occasion and no news, just an ongoing thing that someone is carrying. That's the point at which people stop sending cards, and it's usually the point at which one would help most.
The window matters here. It isn't a sunrise or a rainbow or anything that promises this will be over soon. It's just light getting in, which is a smaller and more honest thing to say.
The card is blank inside for your own words.
WHEN TO SEND IT
Someone starting or partway through treatment. A friend caring for a parent. Someone going through a divorce, a legal fight, a long stretch of unemployment. The month after a loss, when the casseroles have stopped. Anyone in a hard middle with no end date attached.
WHAT YOU GET
One printable encouragement card design 6 x 4 inches, landscape
Instant digital download — no physical item ships
HOW IT WORKS
Purchase and download — the file is available right after checkout as a PDF
Print at home, at a print shop, or upload to a photo service
Trim, fold if you like, and pair with any 4 x 6 envelope
PRINTING
6 x 4 is standard photo size, so any photo lab, drugstore kiosk or home printer will handle it. I'd suggest matte cardstock — 110 lb / 300 gsm. The colour runs to all four edges, choose "actual size" or "100%" rather than "fit to page."
BUYING MORE THAN ONE?
This design is part of my eight-card empathy and sympathy set. If you're sending cards to someone over a long stretch, having a few different ones is the point. Look for the Sympathy Card Set of 8 in my shop.

A NOTE FROM ME
I make printable cards because the shelf never has the one you actually need. If anything about your download doesn't work the way it should, message me — I answer every message myself.
